c’mon Premier – you’ve reduced payroll but increased land tax, put in the sugar tax, raised the foreign currency purchase tax, increased fees … we are not better off at all

I have read several comments from PLP representatives about the need to get this election over with so hard, but necessary, decisions can be made.

Hopefully they will articulate what these hard decisions are prior to the election and not sprung on us on October 2nd. We have a right to know.

Umm, Mr. Premier, I am working Bermudian and not one of my taxes have gone down, they have actually done the opposite. You and your team will win so there is no need to for such misleading statements. Yes, you reduced the payroll tax for some but that was offset by the sugar tax and increases in land tax, FCPT etc.

I noticed on Monday and today that the PLP candidates actually speak and deliberate well when conducting their Q&A. It doesn’t mean they speak perfectly, but there is a common man/woman approach they have which doesn’t give the impression that they are ‘putting on ears’.
They seem connected to the people and the issues.
