Here’s whats simple… You can’t deny Residence from returning home!! That’s why we aren’t required to be pre tested! We simply cannot quarantine in another country in a hotel somewhere for two weeks! Please stop! Just stop with the ignorant suggestions. It’s just plain illegal for our government to not allow bermudians back home and requiring them to pre test screws them from coming if they test positive. Further more these people that are testing positive on arrive aren’t running around the island! We have quarantine rules and testing out the Ying yang. Stop panicking and educate yourself before shooting of with your mouth! SMFH!!

Pretty easy answer for you:

1) dont travel, you know the risks
2) get a negative test result before arriving back on the island

The problem is they are getting bad advise from who knows the CDC. They are just as ignorant as the public. And I don’t mean that in a derogatory way it only means lack of knowledge.

So if you go away and when you come back you gotta quarantine for 8 days. So who is gonna pay me while I am out of work? Because the employer is certainly not gonna pay for the time I am out.

The phrase “mobile quarantine” was only used by NASA during the Apollo missions for astronauts returning from the moon. It was scraped after Apollo 14.The reason why they called it mobile is because the astronauts were quarantine inside a trailer that was able to be moved from place to place, however, the astronauts were sill in quarantine. the only thing mobile was the trailer. like I said, this Gov is full of it.The astronauts were Not able to “move freely”

Please tell us which Country in the World is stopping their own citizens from flying home without a test? Before you depart the airport in BDA everyone is tested.

The rest of the islands in the South require a tourist to enter with a test at the airport or be tested there when they arrive that it.

No 2nd or 3rd test which is what we are doing in Bermuda, which is actually stopping people from traveling here.

Still dont get it why would you allow a person to enter an airport get on a plane with 100 other people and fly home without being tested….no sense at all Bermudians must do the same as all get tested have a result and then you can fly …if one could start a disaster this is the brew

Getting a PCR test with quick results is not available everywhere in the US. We made several inquiries in New Hampshire and Mass. PCR Covid 19 Pre-tests are available at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. No appointment necessary. Get in line (about an hour), show your Bermuda insurance card and get the results by phone and email within 36 hours (as of Aug. 7th). If you need a hard copy, send your result to a UPS Store and they will print it for you.

This Gov is full of it. The only time the phrase “Mobile Quarantine” 0r (MQF)is used is when speaking of the astronauts that had returned from the Apollo missions. If the Gov is allowing returning passengers to so-call Mobile quarantine then they are NOT really in quarantine. Here they go again playing us for fools.
