It’s incredible that so many people can’t see that they’re being led hook line and sinker on these telephone polls by the way the questions are framed.
And don’t even go there about census questions. Biggest lie is the answer to what one’s earnings are.

Phone polls are fun to play with. The questions tend to be loaded to get the answer they want. After the first one or two questions you know what they want to hear so give them what they want. Also they are supposed to be anonymous – in Bermuda that is impossible. Same as answering census questions.

The results of this poll are not surprising. The OBA has not presented itself as a viable alternative and the FDM is a fledgling movement consisting of a few community activists and a charismatic leader. I believe that in time, the FDM may attract more quality candidates to challenge the PLP and the OBA will become a thing of the past.
