For people who refuse to understand that it was a CPO where property owners got at or better than the then market rate for their land (and that a CPO can still be executed today) and the land was not
‘stolen’ they will continue to be enraged based on the fairy tales and exaggerated emotional stories that they’ve been fed.
Keep ‘em angry , mission accomplished !
The only thing that brings significance to the TT CPO was that what was a once rural area is now home to multi million dollar residences.
My family lost property in the north Sandys and Morgan’s Point areas thanks to military demands but as far as they’re concerned it’s ancient history and they did get paid for it , it was not ‘stolen’ .
