This just isn’t going to happen and if it could, how and who would measure it, police it and maintain it?
Besides, if this was possible, why hasn’t the govt already done it? IB isn’t stupid. Their quiet and under the radar movement off the island will continue and probably ramp up.

The above is a quote from the Minister yesterday regarding their proposed changes to immigration due to the benefits of an expanded workforce.

Please explain why you have not yet posted a rant on that article as you did for the above one.

That quoted sentence is the exact rationale the PLP issues yesterday for immigration reform (i.e. create more job ops etc.). And yet strangely enough you have not attributed the same ignorant interpretation to their statement.

The OBA is not concerned about a qualified Bermudian let’s be honest for once. The foreigner should be chosen for the greater good to stimulate the economy. Wouldn’t you prefer a work permit holder staying in your apartment than a Bermudian. Work Permit holders will and can stimulate the economy for all of us. If we have to scramble a few eggs on the way, so be it. Money will always come first.
