It’s showing you are ignorant of how the island is kept running. Many civil ‘servants’ are working horrendous hours (with no overtime rate currently!). Insults we do not need!

I rode to the grocery store yesterday and went for a one mile ride today and the usual suspects were just as out of control as ever.
They know that with slightly less traffic on the roads and no police around they can get away with even more than usual.
So even though the roads ‘should’ be safer they aren’t.

The roads should not be dangerous.

And if people were allowed to walk in secluded places like the railway trial, groups would gather away from the eyes of the authorities and the lockdown would not work.

Forcing people to walk/run on the road instead of the railway trail makes no sense whatsoever. It is more dangerous to walk on the road (especially with dog or child) – if we are ‘permitted’ to walk for 1 hour a day then surely it makes sense to be able to do it on a proper trail?

This a direct result of a selfish minority of residents not obeying the rules that are in place to protect everyone. Unless Bermuda can demonstrate it is a safe location to go tourists will not return and many on this island will continue to suffer economically.

Wearing a mask or staying at home for a few days is a small sacrifice to ensure that everyone remains safe. Even if you might survive Covid you could be responsible for transmitting the disease to someone less fortunate. Those that argue that a few deaths or hospitalizations is a risk worth taking, what if that person were you or a loved one?

Paragraph 14 on Closure of Beaches, Parks and Playgrounds states:

No person shall access any public beach, park (including the Railway Trail) or
playground during the curfew.

While SAHR states golf courses are closed, as in business operations along with other business closures, golf courses are not included in the access restriction.
