The reality is that the COVID-19 virus is highly contagious, and for the vaccine to be most effective, it requires a significant % of the population to be vaccinated, and until that happens it requires everyone to behave.

Those that don’t believe that, or don’t want to do that, need to be called out for their selfishness.

AND I didnt say I dont follow ANY of the advice. If I am sick I will stay home, I mask where required. That is sufficient.

And frankly, I dont care if you are offended. I’m also way past tolerating ignorance and I’m going to continue to call it out whenever I see it too. You are the ignorant one.

IF you are hell-bent on looking for a reason not to follow any of the advice, knock yourself out. The internet is full of garbage and conspiracy. But if you do that, and you put me and my loved ones at risk because of your stupidity, then don’t get upset when I point out that you are dumb, ignorant and selfish.

And it’s people having “sets” be it on the water or at home – that mass mixing is the issue. THat’s why curfew is the most effective policy.

And of course, it’s required in Bermuda because there appears to be a movement of faux outrage and anti-vax sentiment.

So, behave like children, get treated like children.

Its your choice to take the vaccine, and others choose not to, that doesnt make them dumb, ignorant, and selfish, or a conspiracy theorist, it makes YOU a rude a$$hole.

What I’m faced with, is a bunch of irresponsible people who are likening a governments response to a very real public health crisis by referring to it as some sort of apartheid.

Never mind all of the conspiracy theorists.

So yeah. They’re dumb, ignorant and selfish.

How about the quarantine loophole for parents returning from dropping their kids at school abroad? Notably the kids don’t get exemptions when they return, only the parents. So when parents come back with kids at end of the term/year, the kids have to quarantine in a hotel but parents are exempt?

How about the fact that the vaccination hotline was today unable to answer the simple question of what vaccine they would administer if I show up to the college tomorrow? If they don’t know then who on this island should be able to give this advice to the public?

How about the prohibition on tying two boats together, when there is no law preventing people from mingling on the same boat as long as under the gathering limits of 10?

How about the boat curfew of 8pm versus regular curfew, can anyone provide evidence that covid spreads more outdoors on the water in the fresh air after 8pm while staying in my household bubble than it does on the packed porch of a front street bar at the same time?

Happy to provide more examples if you like. But I suspect nobody here can provide any scientific evidence that these type of laws make sense. Of course covid regulations are necessary and have saved lives. But some seem plainly unnecessary.

I find it totally ludacris that some here will attempt to make vile comments. This is about freedom and democracy and be question it. People have a right to challenge decisions made by any government, whether you agree or not. Covid is real and nobody in this organization disputes that, if you lost a love one it is tragic, but please donot try to diminish the movement. You can be adult and agree to disagree. Bernuda full of people want to criticise and do nothing but here you have people who take a stand based on the constitution and you make stupid comment. Read about covid and ask yourself questions. It would appear the sheep mentality has begun to take full effect. MASS MEDIA IS BEGINNING TO DISTORT CRITICAL THINKING. SEEK YOU FIRST TO UNDERSTAND AND THEN YOU MAYBE UNDERSTOOD.
