Successive Ministers, Police and Bermudians have effectively only paid lip service to doing something about the ever increasing speed on our roads. We have proven unquestionably that the only way to slow down and make Bermuda’s roads safer is increased Police presence and visibility. When will we see this happen? Government? Governor? Police Commissioner?? Please, let’s stop the talk and insist and pay for increased Police presence on our roads. Thank you!

I hope and pray all will recover BUT the roads we travel on are a race track. I walk early every day and the bikes and cars that are traveling to DY are ridiculous with the speed they travel. This is throughout the entire island I don’t know what it will take to get they’re attention to SLOW DOWN. innocent people end up suffering.

Hardly surprising with the number of riders treating the roads like racetracks and ignoring other vehicles. There is no police presence so no enforcement. It will take more than a request to slow down from the authorities to bring some semblance of order back. Pity the poor visitor who believes the BS that Bermuda has a 35kph speed limit.
