Are you referring to the entire civil service including all ministers who never lost a dime throughout all of the lock downs , restrictions and stay at home orders ?
The private sector people who pay their wages through taxes are the ones taking licks and even if they are ‘more qualified’.

That’s factually and demonstrably untrue.

The fact remains, the reason we have quarantine (and supervised at that) is because Bermudians think their sh*t don’t stink. They cannot be trusted to stay home after travelling.

The reasons we had a spike in cases AND deaths, is because of the unvaccinated and poor behaviour.

Behave like spoiled children, get treated like spoiled children.

From the press conference tonight looks like the protest didnt matter and fell on deaf ears.
What hasnt been brought up is, where is the $75 travel authorisation money going? Lets say give or take 1000 people come into the airport daily. Thats $75k times 365 days a year equals over $27 million.

The anti-vax movement is perhaps one of the most stupid, boneheaded and asinine groups known to man.

Never mind the outright hypocrisy of those still pursuing a legal plan to ban SSM.

The fact is this – vaccination programs have historically been the single most important medical advance known to man since the advent of clean drinking water and basic hygiene. There is enormous historical precedent for forced vaccinations, and the effectiveness of vaccination programs.

A key factor is volume of vaccinations. It’s well known that vaccines are never 100% effectiveness, but by increasing the numbers of those who are vaccinated significantly increases effectiveness. Fact, End of story.

COVID-19 is highly contagious, and deadly in many cases. All ICU cases in Bermuda were unvaccinated. How many walked out? THe global pandemic continues with thousands dying daily for lack of vaccines.

And a bunch of up their own arse Bermudians think they know best? No, we’re not equal, those that choose not to be vaccinated should be ridiculed and treated with contempt for increasing the risk for the rest of us.

A quick look around the internet reveals that..

“Morgan Stanley in New York will not allow unvaccinated staff back into their offices…”

“Cathay Pacific have said unvaccinated staff risk losing their jobs…”

“San Francisco (city) now requiring all employees to be vaccinated or risk losing jobs.”

What an appalling display of tone and body language from the premier not to mention the unnecessary trotting out of everyone else in the cabinet building as some sort of ‘power demonstration’ .
And the fact that they didn’t hang around for the speeches was in very poor taste as well.
I just hope there wasn’t anyone in the crowd who thought it was funny when some time back Alex Scott accepted a petition on the steps of the HOA and then dropped it on the ground at his feet in contempt of the then organizer because what we saw this morning was no different.
