62,036 according to the estimate provided by Worldometers.com for 2021. We have been losing population since 2005 when we were north of 66,200. From 2015 we have been losing around 300 each year. Not good for growing the economy. Government policy is also sickening and stressing many people like myself! This is a good reason why people are leaving or want to leave the Government Poloitricks behind. And yes, We have Weak and wet noodles for leaders unfortunately!

Yes, but they haven’t stuck to anything. For months they told us, repeatedly, that herd immunity would be reached when the population is 70% get double-jabbed. They made their own goal to have 70% by Bermuda Day, and failed. So they made it a goal to get to 70% by July, and failed.
In the meantime, the Delta variant arrived, and Carika Weldon, their own ‘brilliant’ scientist, said the greater transmissibility of Delta means we need to increase the 70% goal to 87.5%.
And here we are today, suddenly Burt gets challenged in court, two or three nutcases refuse to go into quarantine, and Burt moves the goalposts and declares that herd immunity comes at 65%, which is exactly where we happen to be.
Burt’s not following the science any more. That’s been thrown away, He’s a weak leader, letting opinion polls decide the science.

When will the Premier and Minister of Health own up and say why they are sticking to a % of population when they have no data on the current number? 64,000 is clearly incorrect based on what is seen in public. If the number is closer to 60,000 then Bermuda has reached 70%. Desire to maintain control over the people can be the only and clear reason. Someone please demand a more accurate population number. It also has implications beyond Covid, as seen by the reduction in Primary School numbers.
