If you are both correct, then why is it necessary to have a covid test before a Bermuda resident fly’s back to Bermuda? If a resident cannot be refused entry, why not test them as per normal once they arrive?

There have even been a few testing positive on day 14 though not previously. This is why they do tests on several days.

So the majority of new cases are locally transmitted on any view

1: As a Bermudian living in the US, I just have to wonder how and what on earth Bermuda residents are doing when they are in the US to be getting infected?

2:And most importantly, why is ” This Government ” classifying those that tested positive on their day 4 tests and later after returning to the island as imported? I find it hard to believe that if one has tested negative before they departed the US and again upon arrival, that after 4 days have passed, they imported their virus! It just doesn’t make any sense!
