@Black Soil, if you read the chart properly, it’s 39 “Not Fully” Vaccinated deaths between January 11, 2021 and September 25, 2021, and 9 Fully Vaccinated deaths (actually 9 fully vaccinated deaths in September alone, so far…)

Here is what the chart says:

Of the 235 hospital admissions from January 11 to September 25 2021, 215 (91.5%) were NOT vaccinated, 20 (8.5%) were vaccinated.

Of the 48 COVID-19 related deaths from January 11 to September 25 2021, 39 (81.25%) were NOT vaccinated, 9 (18.75%) were vaccinated.

Interestingly, 39 COVID-19 related deaths is the number of COVID-19 related deaths reported for the whole of the month of September 2021. The chart does not take account of the last 5 days.

Is the vaccine a panacea? No. Does it increase my chance of surviving COVID-19? Yes, by a factor of about 23. Now that I am fully vaccinated I am 23 times more likely to survive than if I were not vaccinated.

That is what the chart says.

I agree with the first part. We are approaching 2/3 vaccination rate (66.something %), which is a good thing.

The best thing we can do is avoid large groups (super-spreader events). I know that that is not the social way most of us were brought up, but it has to be the “new normal”.

The chart is NOT correct since way more than 39 have died…72 have in fact died. The chart is OLD and needs to be updated.

Is the chart correct?
Based on the chart above, 18% of those who were hospitalized and died were unvaccinated.

45% of those who were hospitalized and died were vaccinated.

Is this chart correct?

A lockdown may not help. The virus is very wide spread with hundreds of new cases every day. Residents are simply not paying attention to the precautions nor getting vaccinated.

Will they talk about treatments that can be used in the fight against Covid19, especially after the announcement that there is another treatment now being FDA approved in a pill form, anything less than this, it’s the same old same old rhetoric being said.
