It does not need Minister Furbert to put the knife in the back of struggling retailers, who employ Bermudians. Having said that, I refuse point blank to pay $8 for a bag of 7 locally grown carrots. Same for corn. and local fish, way over priced considering no transport costs. I can do without, and will not support such price gouging.
