This government is a joke … they cannot do one thing right ! I’m sick of all this .
Just eliminate this TA form before we eliminate any hopes for tourism recovery and let the Bermudians who are not computer savvy to feel comfortable to take a much needed trip !!!!

You would think that Government would keep an eye on projected passenger loads & have people available to deal with the spikes in those loads. But no, wait till the spike hits, they are overloaded, the hotline is as cold as the North Pole, the whole system comes crashing down, people are put under stress & unnecessary expense &, true to form, Government blames somebody else.

There is a form to be filled out for travel to the US now. A nuisance but an easy thing to do online. It is instant & does not cost $40.00

This Government has blundered on for far too long with it’s TA form, which is nothing but a money grab. If such info is needed, follow the US example. No human contact needed.

It is beyond time for this to be dropped. It is killing tourism. No other country needs more than proof of vaccination upon arrival. The UK has no requirements any more.

Is this delay because of an increase in visitors from cruise ships? Just get rid of the ta altogether. It is really deterring some people from travelling here and delaying some locals from coming home. I have heard many stories of Bermudians being stuck at the airport due to their TA not being authorized before their flight. Then the airlines have stopped them from boarding because they had no proof of a TA. Its a money grab plain and simple and some people are becoming rich off of this scheme.

Perhaps the TA office could pay attention to school term dates and the cruise ship schedule: the demand should have been expected and prepared for. The Burt/Pitcher partnership has raked in 3.6 millions in two years, enough loot to bring in more staff at these times.

Just welcome the increase in visitors and do away with the stupid form. Think of how to make Bermuda more welcoming, not less. The problem lies with the Premier and Minister of Finance, and neither the new Minister of Tourism nor the BTA are likely to challenge him to drop it.
