That is true as far as it goes, but people are also dying BECAUSE of COVID-19, the Omicron variant being just that, a variant or form of COVID-19.

Being reminded that people continue to die BECAUSE of COVID-19 is valuable in my opinion (and apparently in the opinion of the Minister of Health).

The COVID-19 pandemic is NOT over and we cannot rest on our laurels. I have lost too many friends in the last 2 years.

As long as people FEEL safe, they will be. It is THEIR truth. THEIR reality.
