It’s all very well to have goals, but they are meaningless without concrete steps to achieve those goals, and meaningful metrics to measure success or failure.

Of course, that would require accountability something which the government, civil service and unions are incapable of demonstrating.

“The ninth and final goal is to facilitate the repatriation of young Bermudians by encouraging them to return home to work, live, and participate in the local economy.”

Does that mean that the PLP Government will scrap the one car per household policy and make larger homes affordable to young Bermudians? Because that is what has kept a large number of young Bermudians overseas for decades now.

What about me? Will I get a subsidised house too now that I have paid my taxes for 40+ years?

Minister Hayward highlighting the failure of the PLP over the last 20 years. Prior to 1998 the economy supported people with multiple jobs, buy property or build with friends, enjoy life. Now? 30% unemployment and food banks. The PLP have created a new Bermuda that’s for sure.
