The court can’t of its own volition reconsider anything. Your contention that it ‘puts all rights at risk’ is untrue.
The Democrats had the opportunity to enshrine RvW into Federal law, but they decided not to, preferring the issue to remain a bone of contention in every judicial appointment, and in every election. This as much their failure as anything.

If you had any knowledge of the US Constitution, you would know that marriage is not mentioned anywhere and therefore, falls upon the states to legislate.

If you had any SCOTUS knowledge, you would know that according to CNN, SCOTUS has overturned (overruled) over 300 of its own rulings.

If you had any knowledge of the US ssm issue, you would know that voters overwhelmingly voted against ssm almost every time it came up on a state ballot.

You seem to enjoy seeing your comments online, wasting people’s time, and demonstrating your lack of subject matter knowledge on everything.

Justice Clarence Thomas said that the Roe decision should prompt the court to reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents.

Dobbs’ opinion was more worrying in that it said that unenumerated rights in the constitution will only be respected if they are deeply rooted in this nation’s history and traditions. Essentially if the framers of the 14th Amendment in 1868 didn’t recognize the right and question that the right didn’t have constitutional existence, therefore leading to an opening to not only get rid of the right to abortion, but also the right to same-sex marriage, the right to sexual intimacy and the privacy of your home, and even the right to contraception.

Sorry, I disagree. Roe v. Wade and, more recently, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization are not about “abortion” they are about rights. Not necessarily LGBTQ+ right, but rights nonetheless.

Roe v wade is about abortion, not LGBTQ rights. its a paranoid conspiracy that Roe v wade will branch out to other aspects of life. Abortion has nothing to do with your perceived or desired gender or orientation etc. And the last time I checked, a baby is not the mother. A baby is a human being and grows up to an adult. A woman does not have the right to say the baby is HER body and HER choice. Nobody should have the right to kill another human, especially a child, especially their own child. The NYT interviewed “Jane Roe” years ago. Look up the story. She said the attorneys used her amongst other eye-opening comments that would keep my comments from being posted.

It was unfortunate that Bermuda judges did not understand/follow the law, and the ssm debockale dragged on for years.
