Selling our island… “Investors”, investing in new and existing businesses??? Bermuda is not going to have any Bermudians left…
I’ve named this country years ago: “The Executive Island”. We as Bermudians cannot afford to live here. I’m tired of our people getting these low level jobs as well. Many people I know went to college to come back to Bermuda not to have a job they went to college for. Hurts deeply!!!!!

Totally agree with that . They discarded many long term residents , after that many businesses, private schools and so on suffered .
That move was the beginning of the end for this country …..and continues a downward spiral .

So the PLP is now hailing selling PRC and limited real estate to rich foreigners as a benefit to Bermuda. Wasn’t long ago he was among those trashing the OBA for proposing something similar. Can’t make this stuff up. $255million in new and existing businesses? From 19 applications? What businesses and how many Bermudians have been employed? Never detail just smoke and mirrors.

Of course, had the PLP not systematically removed residents since 2002, we’d actually have long term growth, and importantly more jobs.

Haywood admitting that Bermuda needs more residents and a reversal of the usual PLP myopic view of immigration.
