Where are they getting the figures from. Just go shopping at any grocery store and see the prices rise every week. Coffee has gone up, eggs and bread have gone up. Potatoes about $2 or more so that isn't what is shown in the figures. Who shops for the general public? Themselves. Every time I go shopping I find another item increased in price from the week or several weeks before. Why?

I am not surprised. April 2021 was the 2021 spring "pause". We were not allowed to leave our homes except for essential purposes during the middle of April 2021. We returned to "alphabet" shopping days and 1 hour per day of exercise outside our homes.

Given that history, I am not surprised our April sales increased this year!

I’m not an economist but this looks good. It’s only for one month but better than 2018 and 2019. Let’s hope the cumulative year is better too!
