If ANY government feels the needs to send me a flyer to tell me “how great thou art” that sends up a red flag. If you are doing a good job and I feel that I was getting value for my tax dollar, I would know it. Why is this government spending money they have BORROWED DIUE TO THEIR CARELESS SPENDING to make us feel that we should be grateful? That flyer should have been paid for by the PLP not the taxpayer! If Burt feels the need to waste money to tell us what “promises” the government has kept and what he has done, he most be worried. Just wondering why there was no list telling us of all the things that the PLP promised to do but have not delivered on. Was that SELF PROMOTING flyer even legal!

What happened to lowering cost of Healthcare? that took a detour. My Health Insurance costs me $322 more than it did three + years ago! What happened to improving Public Education? How many schools have closed and will close this year? Lets look at Tourism? Loren, Fairmont Hamilton Princess and St Regis started during OBA years. No new developments and the Southampton Fairmont has CLOSED!. FACT!!!! How’s the Grand Atlantic promised bail out plan coming along? Where is the Hilton takeover they promised?

The PLP went from 2 trash pick up days to 1 and even that does not happen some weeks! Buses and ferries are a disaster. Don’t believe me? Search Bernews to see how many cancellation announcements were made this year!

At first , I thought Premiere Burt was doing an okay job especially in the early stages of the Covid pandemic. Then we started to see the inconsistencies . The Burt PLP government quickly became the, do as we say, not as we do gov..

You all can continue to celebrate the 30-6 victory and brag about it. Ask your PLP MP if after all their wasteful spending and borrowing if they honestly believe there will be a government pension for you to enjoy in 10+ years!

Oh, and we know the PLP faithful will say its all because of Jetgate, but wont talk about BREBs Jetgate! They will probably say its because of the airport outsourcing deal, but wont remind that the Hospital outsourcing deal was the same kind of contract. they will blame Morgans Point, but won’t tell you the history of how Morgan’s Point came to be! Ask them about the US Naval base screw up, the land swap that the PLP turned into the Grand Atlantic that the government invested tens of millions of dollars into, to only have THRRE homes sell!

I could go on forever, but I know that some people will just keep drinking the purple koolaid so I won’t go on any longer.
