They carry much more than just groceries. I hate being lumped into categories with everyone else like I am just a number in a herd! I have been doing this for many years. I go green! Paper bags do not last that long, and they eat up trees to make them unless made from recycled paper.
I also have proper bags bought from the market I reuse. If people just discard after one use, shame on them!
