Now reduce the number of MPs to say, 18 – 2 per parish – and save several million. Education has fewer children and schools so many tens of millions to be saved there. Postal service is only local, so another $5million easily saved there. Plenty more examples. Plus the savings may allow the pension plans to survive a few more years before running out of money.
