Dear Mrs Attorney-General, the function of the DPP is to institute and undertake criminal proceedings in Bermuda. The function of the Attorney-General is to advise the government of Bermuda, draft legislation and undertake civil proceedings on behalf of the government in Bermuda.

It is not the function of the DPP do create offences, that is your job.
