Yes, it is. But life is full of stupid rules.

Thankfully, Dennis Mbelenzi says he was aware he could not be crowned winner when he entered and there is “no controversy” about Lamont Marshall being crowned winner.

Humble guy. Not his fault he was the front runner. His win did take away from Lamont’s “first place” though, Lamont was not the fastest runner on the day….but he was the fastest resident runner! Dennis was given a number and allowed to run. I am all for non residents participating as it’s a great way for us to share our culture and Bermuda Day with others as both a participant and a spectator it is an amazing event that you can only experience in Bermuda – maybe just have a separate category and finish line chute for non residents.
