The economic effects of the pandemic were unnecessarily extended by a year in Bermuda as a result of Burt’s TA Form. There was no health reason for it, it was nothing more than a means of getting money to the remarkably well-connected software IT company that managed the whole debacle. While other destinations had record numbers in a fantastic tourism rebound, our numbers were crap because people didn’t want to bother with the TA nonsense.

The money made off the TA form was good though, wasn’t it, Burt.
