Reason this is being done, I feel is to keep people depending on them as the Government is the reason Bermuda is in the state it is in. Everything spiraling out of control. Sooo businesses closed and or closing..Schools closing because honestly full maintenance has not been carried out in years..what is a paint job when the cracks have not been repaired(?). Buses..old going..new coming n worthless weeks after being in the roads… road repairs..everyone Shakes their heads. In and in and on..can’t blame Bermuda for it’s problems when Government is the perpetrator..time for serious indepth review. They don’t listen, they cannot do or won’t. Last I saw..you can’t work, live, sleep and more..they have to go..lock, stock n attitude. STAND BERMUDA!STAND and please, NO VIOLENCE!!!

What the government FAILS to tell you, is yes, they’re helping with child day care allowances, but…. You’d need a status letter for the financial assistance paperwork. Immigration is currently not accepting/ doing them atm and Financial assistance isn’t accepting applications at this time and don’t know when they’ll be accepting again. They paint this glorious picture for the public then make it nearly impossible to get. I just went through this. The nursery my child is suppose to start said parents are freaking out at the moment due to financial assistance currently not paying the allowance to the family’s. It’s all due to the hacking, yes. But keep in mind this is being posted today and 2 days ago I was told no status letters are being done, no paystubs are getting sent out (which they require) and they’re currently not accepting applications. We are NOT getting help. We are getting sweet nothings.

The trick is that they make you jump thru hoops to get help and any kind of financial assistance. Even after you apply, weeks go by and nothing. Try calling or emailing and you get nothing. I can’t help but think that based on my experience, and the two other people I know that tried to apply for assistance for their elderly mothers, that they are somewhat selective about who they want to give aid to. Different strokes for different floks.
