What happened to governments IT department? Oh yeah, that's right the individual that introduced the new license idea with holograms and security features and supplied printers and support to TCD was pushed aside a few years later to make way for a certain government officials IT company. This isn't the first time they cant print! Ask the staff. Is it really a network issue or did they not remember to order ribbons or holograms? This might just be the first time its gone public.

Every support contract has a clause about expected response time. It will include after hours support and what is expected in the event equipment fails, meaning loaner printers. Are the support people not able to support? Or is there more to this story?
