Several years ago the Department of Tourism no longer offered for our visitors an evening of Intrernational Balroom Dancing at the Pembroke Princess Hotel every Tuesday evenings from 8 pm until.
 The evening was free.
There was a sign posted at the arrival terminal at the Airport.
Upwards of 250 visitors came from hotels all over the island to join in .
We often had repeat visitors, some extended their vacations to the following week.
We were provided with a top of the line sound system .
The music was strict tempo ballroom with a full variety from Latin Samba to the Viennese Waltz and many of the tunes favorites our visitors remembered from their Prom . One couple from Australia put on a stunning exhibition.
Unfortunately it all came to an end shall I say due to in short , interference.
