This is Bermuda. We should not need to “idiot proof” everything as if we are in the United States. There are precious few underpasses in Bermuda and everyone who drives a container truck should know the difference in height between going under The Glebe Road and going under St. John’s Road.

OK, Let’s learn from our serious mistakes. Where are the caution stripes or signs on those beams? Is there a decent height restriction sign near the entrance to Canal Road? I will have to check, not sure. If not, then Public Works will have some explaining to do. We do, post clearance Heights on Gas Station canapés.
Let’s improve our infrastructure and stop tolerating garbage standards. The Causeway Bailey’s Bridges included! Bermuda Roads, Bridges, Walls and Government Buildings are crumbling faster and Faster! Funny how the holes in the Bailey’s bridge article was released today too! Remember when the wall and road collapsed on Middle Road S’Ton back on February 1st? It took nearly 4 Months to finally reopen that lane! Don’t you love the Fruitage of your taxes?!
OK, now we can address the truck and trucker.
