I agree with you, Packman. And it seems our lives have gone along similar lines. I also had no more than a few hundred dollars following my wedding. But we manged to work hard, live modestly, raise children and live a decent life.

On the brighter side, the “conflict” in Bermuda is still a conflict of words and ideas, not a civil war. For that we should all be thankful.

There is a race war going on in this beautiful island of ours.

Put aside your sticks and stones and puppy dogs bones.

Why do we show compation for other nations and not for own nation.

Have you any idea how lucky we all are.

Show the world your best side, or is it our good side.

Where does discontent put Bermuda on the world stage, most certainly not in a very good place.

This useless self serving historical practice which pits brother against brother.

May I ask what is to be gained as there is no comfortable place here for hatred and discontent.

Bermuda needs to mind it own business as talk is cheep and we should not get involved and waving the white flag in other peoples wars as we do not need a target on our back.
After being repeatedly attacked over the years from all sides ,this for them this was the last straw, they have every right to defend them selves with the hope that they can put an end to terrorism once and for all

Cute….the plp support a ceasefire resolution…how about one in Bda…wanna be politicians …hoping their faithful voter base will think they are some global power.lets fill a pot hole or two …save a life or two on our “world Class beaches” work on their share ride vs taxis or overspending on a gaming industry that doesnt exist

This has to be the funniest statement for a long time. Can’t run Bermuda, but wants to be the mouse that roared.

By the way, the PLP only received votes of around 30% of registered voters in the last election, (and 25% of the population) so you do not speak for the majority by any stretch of the imagination.
