Disappointed? How can we grow an industry if there are no accommodations for people. This means the hotels will conintue to charge insane prices for their crapy properties. The PLP has no plan and no vision for this country. The current Tourism Minister should go back to fetching the Premiers bags as he is unqualified and useless.

I can agree with that. But I would add that the pain of towing the PLP line is made up for by six-figure salaries + bonuses, lifetime job security, and no real performance accountability. Oh, the pain of it all! The pain!

The BTA are beholden to the PLP Government. The law was changed to make sure that the BTA was not independent and so that it would toe the party line.
