The decision to offer the restaurant concession to a relatively unknown vendor and deny the concession to the operator of the restaurants at the “old” (circa 1989) airport was a conscious decision on the part of the Government. There was a public announcement on the issue at the time.

Nice airport, but let’s be honest the restaurants are the worst of any airport in the Atlantic or the east coast of the USA.

$16 million in upgrades i do believe skyport paid for these . PLP little silent on taxpayer cost …in fact pretty quiet on penalty payments as well …but we keep paying millions every quarter for the Hospital ….and add to that pouring of hundreds of thousands of tax payers dollars into the ugly elephant on Southshore. Glad to see that W&E did not do the job.

Had they done it the surface would be as smooth as as a dirt bike trail, cost three times as much and still not completed as they do a little on one side, move to another job, come back, do some more, leave again, come back and do a patch and so on.

Next year it would need doing again. Good to see that professionals have done the work.
