Are talking about Decenmber 2nd, with pepper spray incident???. Ive yet to hear who was responsible for giving BPS the green light to pepper spray the PEACEFUL protesters on Reid street. I watched an officer lied under oath saying he feared for his life. Apparently he must be a cat with many lives. How threaten was he when the same people that got pepper sprayed was feeding them and also givning them shelter when it rained. Make it make sense but bless there hearts. One more thing, how about showing appreciation to the other ESSENTIAL service workers that work just or hard or even harder?!?! Just food for thougt.

I was referring to 16 March 2016, a day on which a mob of people organised by an anonymous group calling themselves the “Peoples Campaign” surrounded Sessions House and would not allow MPs to enter the building or carry on the peoples’ work.

At least one PLP MP was present and he warned (or threatened) the Bermuda Police Service that people were coming and they had “ammunition”.

Was that the day an army of Bermuda Police Service pepper sprayed the public for loitering which may have included a few seniors for voicing their opinion ?

Time is very precious, cost money and should not be wasted .

Freedom of speech stops when people insult one another.

Did the B.P.S show up with guns ?

Do they they carry guns to our annual cup match celebration of emancipation ? ” Free at last “.!

Do we or should we fly kites on the CUP MATCH FIELD before and after cup match ? that’s positive thinking .

Am I the only person who finds it ironic that a PLP Minister is thanking “Every one of our five uniformed services”, including the Bermuda Police Service?

That would be the same Bermuda Police Service condemned by the PLP for trying to prevent mob rule in March 2016 so that our Parliament could sit and debate.

For those who do not know, mob rule prevailed in Bermuda on that day.

One hundred to one can we bet that law enforcement couldn’t wait to get out there for the New Year celebrations to exercise their power over the people , there are biger things to deal with as you know.

Need I go on ,kind of petty don’t you think, but is is never the less reality .

People who drink “A” may have a medical or social problem as some need to drown their sorrows as year 2024 has not the lease been exciting.
Who do you blame for that .
Dont ask for a deaf ear.
Those who sit all day in front of more equipment than NASSA when they should be out there every day of the week around lunch time and not just during annual hunting season .

New year is where time has come to give Bermuda a performance rating.

2023 Bermuda got a 4/10 now we see a down turn for 2024 things have not been doing so well can’t reverse the blame on the public for every thing .
We see one financial blunder after another at best Bermuda rates a 3/10 for 2024 and that is being generous.

If the people work harder and go with out this year .
Bermuda could buy some more electric busses; tugs ; ferry boats ;and finish fixing the roads.

Mr. Weeks 25% of my pension goes in taxes for which many like me can claim nothing.
