The PLP elite take the approach that once in power, make yourself rich and keep us, the voters poor. If everyone prospered then they would no longer vote PLP as the tired emotional race baiting, messages of fairness, and for the people would no longer have any emotional relevance. He had Bermuda’s future firmly in his hands when he took over as Premier. He could have unified us and moved us forward. But that wasn’t his intention. His was revenge politics and he dealt a huge disservice to Bermuda and our people, a decline that continues today.
