The Bermuda Government made a conscious decision to borrow billions of dollars. Most (but not all) of those decisions were made between 2004 and 2012. The later decisions to borrow were also conscious decisions, mostly because of the debt created between 2004 and 2012 and the inability to service that debt and provide adequate services to the public.

According to our Government, price inflation in Bermuda has for the most part been lower than that experienced by the U.K., U.S. and Canada over the past 5 years

I wonder when people are going to realize that a loan is borrowing a large quantity of money from the future.we do not have from that urcertain future being dependant on the economy and your job opportunities .

That could be an unwise game to play because the interest charges escalates the original cost plus increasing comprehensive insurance and maintenance costs.

Our national debt aparantly is claimed to increase the public liability to pay down on $50,000 for each person .

There is considerable risk involved in getting the national debt down to a reasonable level in the first place as the future is not promised.

Election Day is fast approaching and we may presume tha many will be going to the pole for the first time , who have not made their mind up from where the choise has been narrowed down to party of preference or for a spacific candidate whose party has previously vote for.

Their names have appeared on a list, here you will find your self with a decision which amounts to Hobsons Choice.

Moving on to stage two, you are being being asked for simpley your endorsement , now that becomes a hard nut to crack, as some of the candidates are well known to the general public ,other names listed have vague platforms, who may have come out of the phone book.

The battle, it is not a fight is it? but boils down to a situation where, if you do not know the person , just vote for the party, we hear that every 4 years. for many unknown reasons back then, thousands did not go to vote that was not good for the country but people had spoken.

In many cases the sanctity of the vote was ignored based on lost hope and missed trust.

People wanted change back then , as they still do today, the question was for change Change to what ? was it for why ,when ,and how , or just they do not know or don’t care.
however many do know, what they do not want or can not afford the future, because this election is all about money, trust and survival.

From the past we have been left many disappointments with many dots remaining to be connected .

All it takes is a little effort an that is very easy to achieve compare to other destinations , do no not mean codfish an pees and rice with a banana with cold on the side on Sunday morning.

This island has some very good chefs here unfortunately they have the fading dr eam of world proclaim

Gourmet is ok for some not all.

Bermuda has be become a nation of beer dirinkers and finger food eaters.

Bermuda has to drop the duty on all food our problem here is not us, it is them .

People to day do not do any thing unless they get showered with money Bermuda did not get built that way .

Bermuda need to make it known that our visitors can come here get treated properly and get a clean bed three or four course dinner / meals prepared by a world renound chef.

I was on a business trip to” no where you want to know about” they did not know how to make a decent salad. in a big hotel.
We need a chef’s conference and competion . JUST DO IT. !
