The cost of living is nothing new. It has been increasing exponentially since Covid in 2020. Yet they haven’t done any of these things in the 3 years they had. Absolute clowns! I hope everyone sees them for the liars they are.

Direct from the Bermuda Government website “At maximum solar production, the facility will provide up to 13% of the Islands energy needs to meet peak demand”

Problem is that Belco bills have increased quite significantly (Doubled) , so this farm has had a negative impact on Bermudians.

Perhaps Mischa Fubler can explain how solar power works at night and cloudy days. Where does the power come from then?

Solar is not free and it is not cheap. There is much more to it than panels on the roof.

That solar farm at the airfield finger is tiny. I doubt if it can provide 13% of the air terminals needs on the sunniest of days. It is not feeding into the BELCO grid.

Do you have any idea how much power the terminal needs just to run the A/C?

the PLP talk on solar is a joke. The finger can handle up to 13% of the grid at full capacity (so more when not everyone using electric like crazy), but our BELCO bills have increased.? Why ?

The finger was a huge scale project, so how are community solar projects going to help us.

Thank you to the media for pressing these folks to provide verbal confirmation that the PLP is dipping into the sinking fund to pay for pension increases and the other buzzword elements of their campaign designed to lock in the elderly vote.

It’s unsustainable at is only going to make our public debt more burdensome in the future, especially for today’s youth and future generations.

This is all just robbing Peter to pay Paul.
