Prices went up some time ago that is where the damage was done and so did wages for many people. but not all, got a piece of the pie .

While others were just messing with the numbers .
We recently just heard the plp were subsidizing some people over the minimum wage from what we can only presume from our tax money.

Got to teach them how to fish, if not they will take the easy way out and will be back for more .

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management reports U.S. retail price inflation in October 2024 as being 2.6%

Statistics Canada reports retail price inflation in October 2024 as being 2.0%

Bermuda did better than any of those countries, with retail price inflation of only 1.1%!

Our retail price inflation rate is roughly one-half of that of the countries from where we import 90% of our goods!

Look at the published in the article and copied to below, none of them are 1.1% or below. They are all increases above 1.1%, so even with the numbers presented we can not be at 1.1% higher, it has to be more.

The Rent division increased 2.0 per cent.
The Health & Personal Care division increased 3.3 per cent.
The Food division increased 2.8 per cent.
The Education, Recreation, Entertainment & Reading division increased 1.5 per cent.
The Household Goods, Services & Supplies division rose 1.5 per cent.

Peoples pay increased to keep in line with inflation are linked to these statistics. Meaning the PLP are causing people to be poorer by not releasing true inflation numbers.

If your pay changes by 1.1% but costs of goods go up by 5% then you are 3.9% poorer because of these numbers.

Change the statical measure to reflect reality, am sick of the PLP making us workers poorer with their statistical lies.
