That is not correct. There was no property requirement to vote in the 1963 election.

We haven’t had that vote in over 20 yeas. Successive PLP governments have lied to the people about where our money is going and how much of our money is being spent.

So how shameful that the party that campaigned on equal rights should some 55 years later force through their very own apartheid based on who might and might not vote for them.

Bermuda’s youth should not forget what the PLP did this year. By tactically switching off the student vote (anyone else note the smart kids are not voting for Burt??), they cut young people’s rights and muted their voice. It was blatant and outrageous, the PLP should be embarrassed, and this must never happen again.

How about “no taxation without representation?”
