Back to business as usual for Burt an Co. Photo ops and sound bites. It is all a never ending PR campaign for the benefit of the easily fooled. It works, though not nearly as well as in the past.

Barely half of the popular vote is telling.

Don’t expect anything out of this cosey little get together. The FDM is history. The independents did better than the FDM. Burt and the PLP don’t care what the OBA thinks, even though proportionally they deserve almost half of the HOA seats given their percentage of votes.

At 11 seats the OBA is in a much better postion to make the PLP accountable. They have picked up some very smart and vocal people. Let’s hear them.

Did anyone ask what the “for us” referred to in the PLP election slogan?

In power for all except 4 years since 1998 and now asking for help. Shows they have no clue how to fix the problems they have created.
