Look at the very first paragraph of the article, “The Out of School Programme Adventure Daze 2025 is being organized by the Office of Youth Affairs, Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors Tinée Furbert said in the House of Assembly today [May 16].”

Our government did that intentionally.

There is no reason for ‘play on words’ in this instant and if I am being emotionally reactive so be it, but when us as adults continue to use words with the primary goal of a ‘fun/feel-good ‘effect in activities surrounding our children I have a huge problem with that because it comes off as a ‘play-play’ ‘event’ and not a long-term/sustainable development of our children awareness/knowledge investment.

Sooo, in all honesty the fact that the very meaning of the word Daze means to be unable to think clearly or to be confused I can’t for the life of me think that a team of people organizing this programme agreed to use the word. May i ask for consideration to be given to changing the flyer to The Out of School Programme Adventure Daze 2025, to be The Out of School Programme Adventure Days.
