Hopefully the general public will start to realize that many of the offenders are actually repeat offenders. There is this crazy mentality amongst many people on this island that they don’t want to talk cuz they don’t want a snitch. That is exactly has been drilled into the mindset of the week by these criminals. Way too often there are family members and friends and even witnesses to crimes that don’t speak. It is shameful and disgusting that these individuals think the better option is to protect someone who has intentionally planned to hurt another person. Not until someone they know gets hurt that they want everyone start talking. Until we all understand that if nothing changes in the mind, nothing will in the country.

I understand a family member wanting to protect somebody but hiding them and lying for them is not the answer.
