I agree. They have no intention of consulting with voters on any of it. The service and responsiveness from the Dept Immigration is appalling. All symptomatic of how badly mismanaged the island is.

One has to remember that this is the same political party that had members of the public surround Sessions House to prevent even a debate about work permits and Pathways to Status. The protest was not about a vote, it was about whether or not Parliament can even discuss such matters.

In those circumstances, I do not believe that this consultation is real.

So if the processing times are consistently not met, what do they do? Do they find out what is going wrong at the Dept Immigration? No. Do they improve systems or accountability at Dept Immigration? No. Do they review the processes so that Dept Immigration improves its response times? No.
They just extend the processing times.
Just another example of how Bermuda is badly managed.
