However scholarships are not awarded, like bursaries, based on financial need. My point is the PLP government is pandering to only one section of our community which is discriminatory. As an aside, not all whites ‘have the money’.

With the racial mix of Bermuda’s population generally thought to be 65% black and 35% white, not one white student was considered worthy of a scholarship? Remember, theses are scholarships, not bursaries, so should be awarded to students showing academic excellence, good character and contributions to the community.
