What is missing from all these tax payer paid holidays that apparently benefit Bermuda, is there is never any mention in Bermuda as to what was discussed and put forward to benefit Bermuda. Pretty photo ops for Ministers to justify the trip, but where does Bermuda and Bermudians benefit? Total silence.
Reminds me of a Yes Minister episode when a school girl asked the Prime Minister what he has actually achieved. Waffled about meetings and committees, but couldn’t say one actual achievement.

Attendance at these events keeps you up to date. Time to grow up. You don’t hear a word about British or American leadership and theircost. It comes with the job. Establishing relationships like this also helps Bermudians indirectly when Bermudians have an issue overseas. In plain language it comes with the job.Bet you don’t say a word about the Governor’s travels.

We trust that the Minister will be producing a report very shortly listing the costs to the taxpayers for this expensive junket plus what benefits Bermuda will get from her travels besides photo ops she gets from her travels.
