Whereas “Bermudan” sounds like a holdover from a grammar book that no one ever reads, “Bermudan” is simpler, clearer, and most importantly—internationally understood. Demonyms are still in use, not because they appease a group of local purists, but you can hold on to the past if you like. To act otherwise would be to confuse nostalgia with importance; Bermudans are known by the name that has significance outside of their borders, whether they like the designation or not.
