It will be very important to know precisely what (of the plan that was approved by the former Minister, Walter Roban, in 2023) was “improved and refined”. It is important to know if those improvements and refinements were of such a degree as to warrant another public review, particularly by the many who had concerns and/or objections to what is being proposed for this large development.

What ever support the Government can give now or Fairmont / developer eg. Training Bermudians etc even through sponsorships with over seas assignments @ Fairmont s should be encouraged. Getting staff up to the “Fairmont standards / culture will hopefully insure success.

I understand the Government has an interest in this project through guarantees, it is critical that a seasoned construction consultant be retained by Government to represent and sign off on the development.as it progresses. To assure actual costs etc. The must be assurance that what has been guaranteed I by Government is fulfilled.
