There is no matrix for the optimal number of species for fish, plants, trees, birds, turtles, corals, Mollusca, humans, insects, etc., specifying the optimal balance for each species by grid section/geographical coordinates, zip code/postal code, to achieve “biodiversity.” So, how can we enforce/protect something that is not quantifiable?

What other unrealistic goals are out for consultation?
