No problem with paying something for a trap. If traps were free people being what they are, would take the trap, chicken in it, and throw it overboard, or but it in a trash bag.

Free traps is not going to happen.

Totally ridiculous … if they want you to call them for collection once you have a trapped chicken then they should be the ones to come set it up in problem areas with NO charge for the trap which they can move to a different problem area once cleared . The public needs to pay $100 for a trap … totally ridiculous.

How about a huge NO to $100 chicken traps that RETAIL at a Tractor Supply or Rural King for about $50.

This is not about catching chickens. This is a money grab by a Government that is broke and is desporate to get money to maintain it’s lifestyle by any means that it can get away with.

Make it $25 and I might get a few traps. I will deal with what is caught.

Anyone who really wants to get rid of chickens on their property can do it for a lot cheaper and faster.

The gov is letting the chicken and rat population grow like they’ll be able to vote for the PLP.

So hold up here jus a second. This really is some outside-the-box thinking…..third grade level, but outside-the-box nonetheless. You mean to tell me, this governments’ solution to the feral chicken problem is to sell $100 traps and have people report in when they catch each chicken to have someone come and collect it??? Like seriously, does that mean you’re gonna create a full-time “Chief Chicken Collector” position for someone too? Will the trap owner receive any bounty on their end? Can I get the chickens for lobster pot bait?

Hey Jache…..just a little FYI…..a 250 round box of birdshot for 12 gauge shotgun costs $125 at most sporting goods stores. Bring in a professional from the states, give him a police escort, and DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM for a couple thousand dollars instead of spending taxpayer time and dollars coming up with STUPID IDEAS like this one.
