This area worked fine and great with no lights. People forget the good old days. Collectors Hill was another good example. Now those lights hold up traffic every day for a mile backed up as late as 6pm. In all my years driving, Collectors Hill was safe with no lights, i dont ever recall seeing an accident, but with lights i always see people run the red and speeding to get green.

They could have put a roundabout or left it as stop signs after all this time and no accidents.

What has it been, more than a year to fix those lights?

When people abided by the ‘All way stop’ that intersection was working just fine without the lights.

Here is a thought for the junction, and others, in US and Canada the default is that at a red light one can make a right turn, after a stop, if the way is clear. Conversely why can we not make a left turn, after a stop, on a red light if the way is clear?
