Gerald clearly has his own agenda, but I am not sure it is correct to say that Bermuda exists due to the charity of foreigners.

Bermuda “exists” because of the volcano beneath it.

Bermuda has succeeded over the past 416 years because of the ingenuity and perseverance of its inhabitants.

Mr. King certainly knows how to tick all the right boxes and talks the talk a competent politician. However, it’s as if his biggest weakness (and that of the OBA in general) is the ability to transform his words into anything resembling action outside of rather un-insightful op-eds.

With a government as objectively incompetent as ours, it should be a fairly simple task to outwit them with an ounce of sound logic, articulate debating skills and having the gall to be honest and blunt from time to time.

The OBA really should just dissolve and get out of its own way at this point.
